Before I screw up way too far into this, I need to know if Im doing this right. Im making a skin pack, yeah? Okay, I want to make it as easy as possible for others to be able to download this and use it. Im skinning blood gulch as a test, but what would I be posting as the download? The Blood Gulch map file? Or the .dds files? Im not sure. There are a lot of skins, so that seems inconvenient, although that may be the correct way. In case Im not being very understandable, Ill rephrase the question.

What is the best way to set up a skin pack for download?

::edit::

Okay well.. The skins are universal. So Im thinking about skinning the whole game... But thats a huge download, and not many people would be willing to do that. Is there a way to just download the skins for one map?

What you want is for halo PC, and this section is HaloCE.
However, the easiest way would be to post the map file but on this forum you arent allowed, the file size would be too big. So you would just post the PPFs and then let the user inject it with whatever tool he wants.

Aren't bitmaps stored in the bitmaps.map file :wink: And you can't use ppf's for bitmaps, ppf's can only be used for modifying meta stats and hex editing.

Okay, so the only way for anyone else to download the skins Ive made... Is to just give them the .dds files? Say, zip a whole load and just post it?
