Valley Chaos I wish I could make it but I'm a nOOb

I'm a real nOOb so If I could get some help, that would be great

Discription: A valley with rolling hills and two huge bases that are separated bye a forest (type thing). A road and a tunnel conect the bases and a tram that constintly back and forth from red base to blue base .

Blue base: A base that has a nature feel to it with tree houses and allmost no machinery even the turrets are made out of wood! The road goes right in between two little hills but beaware of turrets ontop! lots of trees and greenery ontop of the hill, and a corall with mustangs ( the horse) that replace warthogs, and a catipult in a tree stump that replaces the scorpion and a Falcon ( bird) in a tree that replaces the banshee! It also features a hunting perch in a tree with a hunting gun ontop! some weapons around a tree and behind all this comotion is the flag perch.


Red base: A city on a hillside basicly describes this base. You can actualy walk IN some buildings and a few of them have have weapons in them! Two Buildings are conected at the top with a tunnel type thing! One has a pelican ontop replacing the banshee. Two smaler buildings have a bridge that conect them, and altogether the two buildings and the bridge have a turret on them. A scorpion hidden in a garage and a some warthogs on the side I also decided to add some buildings just for looks ( you can't walk in them). Behind all this comotion is the flag.


A few extras: a tram goes from one base to another fallowing the road and you can only get in and out of the tram at the two bases. The tunnel is on the side of both bases and goes under everything.

Hope its a good decription cause I dont know how to post pics and I only have a realy crappy drawing of it sry guys. :cry:
I put a poll option in there but it didn't show up so the poll option was: not a veary good description so I don't know.

Stop saying you're a noob man. You're not okay? In modding it takes alot of time to learn what's what and stuff. I was like you when I started modding ce. Sorry for a little off-topic but I can help you construct the map model or bases if you like. Skinning no can do though.

[Offtopic] I'm a n00b too lol [/Offtopic] That's really great! I LOVE the tram idea! Imagine doing a rendezvous flight in the pelican! w00t! Not much i can do to help make it though. Hey, i might help with some textures... :)

You need to upload the file to the internet somewhere. (Photobucket is good) Then you need to give the pic's url in the format [img]PICTURE_URL_HERE[/img]. (jpg and png pics seem to work best - sometimes the ubb code doesn't display bitmaps. Oh, and BTW, I can't do skinning or bumpmapping. I will supply the textures (metal, grass, wood etc) to you in, say, TIFF format. Hope we can get this map in-game!

Post 1: the map design textures are grass and so if we get more guys to do scenery then you can do those textures but for right now its just grass. And thanx for the info Smile

erm... well i know this isn't really my thing, but i was just playing around in gmax and made this,jsut to check if this is how you envisioned one of the bases. Note: The textures are not finalised, and the base doesn't have a colour yet. Also, ther is only one building. But is this roughly how you thought it would be, just with more trees and buildings?

Hey thats prety good only the hill needs to be much wider and its on a hill side not hill top.

sry for the mutli post after I did it it showed them all separate, won't hapen again.

I'm working on a Chaos Relic Room at the moment. I'll show you pics later but the word 'chaos' makes me think that this map should be wartone style. I wanted to make a destroyed vehicle but I went off the wrong track and made this lol.

Thanks for that comment mac_user. I plan to make a destroyed version of it. Okay I think the relic room is ready to show at the moment as you can see the interior is too simple and is not yet complete. Where the cyborg is standing the flag will be there. Outside you have a launching bay where a vehicle or something will be there for use. The Relic room is also guarded by 2 heavy rocket turrets. So infiltration might be hard. Feedback be appreciated.

is this for valley chaos or not spartin cause if its not then don't post in hear if it is then thats not realy what I had in mind. O and nice that looks awesome :D. PS I need people who will make vehicles and can you give a link to dl gmax

Gmax can be downloaded here. I would recommend that you try some tutorials. There are plenty around the net. :)

Yes popo that was for chaos valley. As already said I did wanted to make a vehicle on a destroyed version but I went off the wrong track and made it fully operational. The relic room will be part of red base in which you said is going to be a city. If you do not want these models then they shall be used for a different project I'm doing. If they are then they'll stay.

ok The Spartin I'm leaving this project to you I'm trying to not be a nOOb so i'm trying to do other stuff so your the project maniger( lol remindes me of the apprentice) the map is basicly 2 hills facing each other and a road and a tunnel conecting them so...good luck! PS: and if I'm not a nOOb bye the time ur finished I got some easter eggs to put in the game 8) (or at least 1)

you should have it that when u jump off the tram b4 you're at 1 of the bases, u hit assorted death traps or spikes of spikey doom! seriously.
And if u get in the way of the tram, which has spikes on the front, you get stuck on the spikes and die. I think the sides of the tram should be open for easy access, view, and bloody death possibility. Or the tram could be very high up over water so that if you fall out, you die, but i like the spikes better. sorry if these ideas sound stupid or too hard to do, im a noob too, and i just think that death traps increase the fun, and make more people want to play it longer and more often. thank you. *applause*
P.S. Anyone can use these ideas as long as they notify (pm) me first.

uuuu I don't know if thats good it doesent realy have the valley chaos feal(in my case) Death traps maybe not... falling off the tram while its mooving isnt possible since the doors open and close only at the bases.PS: how do I use blitzerkrieg? I think it has somthing to do with searching and pasteing in the 3dsmax directory.

Oh, i didn't know about the doors thing. I'm just saying that if you include deathtraps and it says that next to the download, more people are likely to d/l it. It was just a suggestion.
