Containment W.I.P.!! Need Mappers/Modellers/skinners!

Yeah, you heard it. Containment. Ive been working on this since today, and its working out pretty fine. I alread finished the middle building, the big one, and it got no errors at all, 460 polys in total. I really need some mappers, modellers and skinners. So if you want to apply, pm me or aim me at pwned733.

Don't go tell me stuff like: OH you fucking naab the halo 2 team is already going to do this. Well, i got one thing for you then: Shut up. If you want to help me, just gimme a call please. And post some constructive critism, while i am working on the bsp and other buildings. Hope to see from the modellers around here soon!

thats nice......i could help. I cant model but i'll gladly sapien stuff in tehre. Are you going to try to get halo2 weapons or vehicles? Anyways...yea PM me or something......but remember..cant model...3ds ran out.

cool....and do you think you an get gate triggers in tehre. Because t's not fun with a close gate...exept getting out of it....over the ramp.....(i call it dukes of hazard exit

)...and then theres invisable walls. Im experimenting with those....trying to find an invisable bitmap.

I know how to do it, theres a bitmap called player clipping which has invisibility, so you need to name it like: Playerclip(insert sign here) something like, !, or ^, i dont know anymore, but then its invisible but has a collision so you cant go through it.

Anyways, i tried getting it ingame, only 4 errors! I have them fixed in no time.

id be glad to help with anything i can. i can skin, model bsp/weapons etc
dont know if uve seen aftermath, but thats my current project so ya.
and for the invisible walls elite_commander, your pretty much right. you make the wall and call it playerclip* (or @ i think they do the same thing) then apply a material called playerclip* to it.

for the invis walls you just make a box and give it +sky and attact it to the bsp

this project is already being worked on by Scooby. he's carrying on Oxy's and my work on it, and he has far more modeled already. not that it doesn't look good

Anyways, i got it ingame, and worked on it the whole night fixing errors. Bah, damn edges :p And i will show ingame pics when i get on my own comp, damn internet block :/ And if other mappers are making this, i dont care

Maybe we could merge but hey. I dont know.
And, gmp, thx for your help, we can use a tagger

Anyways, OMG NEKKED PIX!on1o1no1n

snaf its fine if three teams work on a map and if its fine with elite commander
we should start to work on warlock or san. elite aim me and tell me what you want me to make and i will make it after i am done with my castle map i should be done my friday.
:edit we should ask scooby to merge with us to we can get this done skined and out before the halo 2 team does

Yeah, we could actually merge. Anyways, i need some info if Scooby purged all the errors in his structures then, otherwise if we merge we got alot of work to do. But ill ask scooby.

hell i can fix errors i am a error fixer i fixed the errors on the sniper tower for last stand and made it destrucable scenery

Heh, if you can, we both can be error fixers, i mean, this thing first got 4 duplicate edges, but later it got like hundreds of open edges. But i fixed it in approx 30 min.
And, if you have some time, lets model the gate opener

And the bases, of course.

id be happy to help ya, xebec is my friend and if you ask him im sure he'll say something nice about me
but i can model pretty good and i am awesome at fixing errors and working in sapien/tool/guerilla
plus i can help ya with the h2 vehicles...not saying that i'd rip them...just *digging my hole deeper and deeper...there is yomama/DRL, wow i hit china already* make them h2 like.

i agree, we should merge teams or think about moddeling turf or sancuary, because i think warlock is being worked on too.
