can someone give me the latest version of chimp for gmax so i can export my halo1 stuff. thanks in advance

thanks, didnt know it was the latest, but when i try to do max script run script and click on chimp it doe not open. thanks

Make sure you click chimpv54gmax (or something like that).

make sure it is a .ms. Then, it will export the .jms. To save it, click the grablistener that came with the chimp download. That will open up a command prompt window and allow you to save it.

i know how to export but it wont start the script.....and the file name is just chimp.ms.....any help?thanks in advance

k open up gmax
go to maxscript in main menu
click on run script
open up chimp
now in the tool menu, click on the little thing that looks like a hammer
click on maxscript then click on run script and open up chimp

now where it says utilities, click on dropdown and click on chimp
a menu should open up then export halo structure

don't forget to frame and link your gun

wait...is this only for halo ce maps...i cant do scenery or weapons or crap like that with chimp?

u can do anything thazt needs a .jms with chimp including scenery and all that good stuff

Yes there are versions for 3dsmax and gmax.

got it.....now its on my old computer but its a pain in the anus to send files from one computer to the next (and yes I do use a flash drive and it is still a pain)

well i dont really want to get a student license but i could talk my tech teacher to getting it for technonlogy stuff......and then i dont know where to get 3dsmax 6...if I COULD find it then heck yea i'd download it
