It's pretty simple, but thats not a bad thing.

It would look very cool if u got a nice skin on there. I'm picturing some shade of black.....

that, and don't use .bmp's cuz they're tiny. they don't show ur model very well. make it at least 640x480, .jpg, and use [img] tags.

Mmmm... can we see some wireframes? I have a feeling you just threw together some shapes to make that... even if you did, read some tut's and you will get better. It took me almost 1 month to learn how to model like I do now. I haed gmax for ayear or so a long time ago, but during that whole time I never read a tutorial, and only until now have I really become an expert at 3ds max modelling. Hehe, a 14 year old 3ds max expert >.< . :P

*Wonders if you watched that minigun tutorial of that english dude*

If you did, you thought it was hillarious as well? I did :P!

Anyways yeah model is pretty plain, but cant see any errors and looks quite good, the base looks kinda boring, maybe remodel it and add to it or so thing..

Also what I do is save the render as bitmap (.bmp) then open it in Photoshop and save it with the highest jpg settings

*Edit* Just have fun when modeling, thats what I do, I dont care if I'm trying to model it from a real thing and it looks bad, I just try stuff and test and just have fun, thats why I love 3d modeling, no rules you can do what ever you want/can.

Nice model

actually yes about a year ago i watched that tutorial. (it was so funny) The minigun was like all i knew how to do so i put a lil bit of my own stuff in it aswell. I was gonna add details, like holes for the bullets to feed and some screws and stuff but im not that good yet. Also i would be using 3ds max 7 but i cant download the trial for some reason it quits after 30%. (has this happend to anyone?) OK i have to leave right now but thanx for your replies also il get a wireframe pic of it (thanx for the pic tips) And its just simple shapes that i used. BTW is there some way to import a rhino into halo? Or should i just learn 3ds 7?

Does anyone know how to take screenies and wire frame pics? Also does anyone know any good tuts on Rhino? I looked but there either what i already know or way to advanced for me (like making a car from scratch) and stuff like that. Also my material editor keeps freezing for some reason is there another editor that i can use to add materials to my ? I heard bryce was nice but i cant find a trial if they had one. And can i import this into halo at all or is it just experience in 3d. Also can somone give me an idea on what else i should add or something that i should try to make because i cant really think of anything.
thanx

To go into wireframe mode press F3 and you can take screenshots, or if u have 3ds max then press F10 and tick a box that says Force Wireframe, then press Render. Or if you want certain objects to appear wireframe, press M and make the material wireframe.
