Banshee Skin acting Funny (solved)

Ok, I skinned the warthog yesterday, and it went reletively smoothly. Now I'm working on the banshee, but some parts that I color white come out purple.

You can't really tell in this picture, but the wing section on the left is also purple. The wing section on the right is white...

You can see the purple wing section a little better in this one.

THis is a closeup of where the purple wing section meets the hull. Look at that white part in the next picture, it is circled in green.

I have no idea why only some parts are coming out white, because I colored them all in exactly the same way... What am I doing wrong?

is that for H2 or PC?

probably h2 cause in one of the pics he's holding a smg.

Yeah, it's for Halo 2. I've already skinned the ghost and the warthog with the same color scheme, and they say "Dr Pepper Racing" on them

I dunno... I've done everything I can think of to this bitmap, so I'm just going to extract the virgin one and try again. I'll let you know how it goes.

EDIT:
I finally got it. The problem was banshee_plate_change_color.dds With a name like that, it seems very obvious now... I filled it black and my problems went away. I hope this helps anybody having similar problems.
