Well now, you don't see me asking for help often...but meh.

This is probably a really simple fix, but I cannot figure it out, and neither can Snaf. I took a sample picture of it to help people along.



As you can see i made a simple 100x100x100 box and selected the "select and move" tool. Also, if you haven't noticed by now, the little colored lines whihc you select to move and object (red, green, and blue) are very tiny.

This has been happening for a little while, and now i just gave up on trying. It takes multiple tries just to move the object the way i want to.

I'm also going to add that zooming in or out has no effect what-so-ever.

My question is, how do I get it to its original size.

I'm also going to ask that nobody posts here just saying "I have no idea" or "thats tough" or "hahaha, Pie needs help now" or anything of that sort. I would appreciete only posts concerning this problem and a possible solution or advical statement

Press Z, then press it again.

If all goes crappy, go to file, reset.

Does nothing.

go to the general options.. its either preferences or something

go to the widgets tab.. then fool around w/ that stuff. sometimes on mine it will randomly turn off widgets. but from the pics it looks like the widget has been turned to be rly small

Press X, once or twice if that doesnt work click...Custom UI..then Load UI and click default one

Or you could reinstall.

I would rather not reinstall because i have a 1 year license and i have no idea what will happen if i have to do taht, since its up soon. Plus it takes so much time, which i have none of.

Pressing Z is the shortcut key for Zoom Extents All, it has no effect, and why would it?

Pressing X just toggles the axis thing to be able to move it and not. That is all it does, has nothing to do with size.

Default UI is my last resort, so i have yet to try it.

And where the hell is tis widgets thing?

Pressing - reduces transform gizmo size.
Pressing = increases it.

aww man i was just about to say that..

lmfao, sorry if this is spam pie, but when max 7 loads, it usually tells you the shorcuts and stuff lol you know, on the loading thingy that appears in the middle of the screen.

Oh yea, Macho, did you know that it doesn't show ALL of the hotkeys? Did you know that I would hate to just continue to start it up until it showed me what i wanted?

I know that it doesn't show all of them, but I know it shows that one. Lol

I just got back from playing for an hour on Halo 2, I got out of the level regret, and was buzzing around the giant two lakes lol The giant structure in the middle of it? I thought it was possilbe to go up on it, but it;s not. The bottom part of it doesn't even touch the ground! The water isn't even water like in Halo 1, its just a plane with snow tool effects. I was driving my warthog under water! I still have to check out the other 20 % of the map I haven't got to yet,

i only have 5 more days in my trial NOOOOOO well any ways when i press the middle button or scroll button down to zoom in/out when i hold it it goes to wireframe and when i let go it goes back to normal how do i fix that

err yall do know you can go to "help" "hotkey map" and just move your mouse over the keyboard...

Yup. I was wondering if Macho was gunna come back and say that. But some things don't have hotkeys, so i didn't obther going to that because i didn't think there would be a hotkey fix for it.

And thanks to figuring it out, my level is nears towards a no texture test.
