using HD maps when booting from game disk

i have a modded map, now i want to use it but i am booting from DVD drive. is there any way to play the maps from my xbox HD when booting from game disk?

but the answer to ur question is no. If u want to play a modded map for halo 2 u need to have the mod applied to the halo 2 on ur hdd.
(im not too sure tho, u mite wanna check this one out)
