I have textures that I have tried to use on my level within 3DS Max, they appear in 3DS but not in Sapien. I have UVW map setup like the tutorial suggests, but nothing works.
Also when I export from Tool, I'm always asked which shaders to use and it gives an option from 1-9. This isn't something that the tutorial covered, and it didn't come up since the tutorial files were already created. If I select 1, the files will at least export, but not if I select 2: shader_model.

No no no no no!
Your shader has to be edited in Guerilla! You have to select your base map, bump-maps, or whatever in it!
When it compiles, basically, it looks for the shader with the name you supplied in Max. In that shader file, you have to have your options set, like what texture it is using, and such. Try watching the video tuts, they tell exactly how.
