Open Edges exporting Structure

When I try to export structure in tool, it says I have open edges. I'm guessing that means that I have spaces between my vertices in the skybox somewhere, but I can't find them. When tool tells me I have open edges, it gives me the number of those edges. Is there a way I can navigate to that edge just by telling Gmax what edge # it is?

Yes, unfortunatly I'm using Gmax!

Thanks a lot guys

Well, I don't know if gmax has it but in max (gmax and 3ds max are almost exactly alike, just gmax has less features) there's a modifier called STL check, uner the modifiers tab, mesh editing thingy. It will check for holes (open edges), double faces, any thing that could possibly hinder a map's compilation.

Open edge just means, your map (which is SUPPOSED to be within a sealed object, to prevent you from escaping) isn't sealed, it has holes in it. If you find an open edge, try using creat polygon to fix it. Kirk's 04 tutorial second batch all the way down on the halmods tutorials section, would help it's called attaching the tunnel to the skybox, me thinks.

i think the open edges thing is a problem with the chimp exporter i used to or tried to use gmax to export maps i couldnt even compile a box lol i got open edges in the corners of it or somthing and couldnt fix it no matter how hard i tried i think it requires you to edit something in the jms file im really not shure though.
