In Halo there is a devmode command (well several) to run an animation. They require an object name and a parameter called an animation graph. Could someone explain or give me a reference of how to create an animation graph, like exporting from Max?

To view an animation in game or in sapien or whatever is beyond me, but in max create an animation and export it as a JMA and compile it with the tool command. The animation has to be part of somthing specific so make sure everything is somehow connected.

My problem is that scripting takes commands, and the commands for animatiing all take a parameter of type "animation_graph"

Animations are pretty simple. Is there a video tut? If so, watch!

They are basically done with the "frames" of an object in Max, and exported.

Well, there is a video tutorial on making a working animated elevator (by Helljumper)

and there is a gun animation (not including the tool stuff) by Sonictag.

And i recently made (yesterday) a tutorial on a cloth animation
--i also have the result in .wmv form (or whatever its called), if you wish to see it--

I KNOW HOW TO ANIMATE STUFF! I already have my .max file with the animation. My problem is, I need to know what formats to export to get it into Halo and how to do so.
