my new gun model: G36C (unskinned)

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Looks excellent, nice render, the angle you chose to place it is very nice. Are you planning on texturing this?

^^^ I'm not one of them  ^^^

Nice model You should add some smoothing groups. The LOD is just about perfect for this sort of game. Also you should make the chamfer on the barrel a little smaller, maybe .1 or.2? (Halo scale) overall I give it a 9.5 :D Can't wait to see it textured!

Did you use a picture as a reference? If so you can use that to texture. In one of sonic tags tutorials he used it, May not be the best way to skin it but looks good if you do it well.
Your image cannot exceed 400x200 or 50kb

well, it is a symmetrical thing. Both side are the same and then you work around the rest. If you want me to texture it with your reference pic, i can

I'm fairly good with uvw unwrap....ing

i coudl send you a pic or two of something i did using a side reference picture.

If you want a complete custom skin, though, then at the top of (i think the Skinning and Modeling forum --this one--) i have a topic with sites full of textures.
