skinning my map

OK i have a cool map i made and im trying to skin it but like my base is connected to my ground ok and i want my base to have a uvw of a box and the ground to have a uvw of planer and when i do that it all screws up like when i click planer it make the base planer and i just want the ground to be i need some help fast so i can finish.

Disconnect the base from the map and skin them seperatly, then after your done skinning, attach it back and when the thing comes up click the second option: "Match materials to Materials ID"

kewl man thanks i will remeber that for my next map i finished it its in file forums
