Gmax/Milkshape

Hey all, I have been modding for quite some time now and want to get more into skinning and mapping. I just bought Photoshop CS and have HTM3 and am trying to decide which to get, Milkshape or Gmax. Any opinions?

theey're basically the same, i havent worked wth gmax, but i think milkshape is a little more user friendly cause it already supports wavefront .OBJ imortation and exportation. Your call. I prefer 3dsmax, but unless you got 3 grand plus in your wallet, forget about it.

well i used to be a GMax d00d but nw i like milkshape alot better for sum things especially when ur editing models from halo but GMax is still good for other things O_O
