Well, i'm working with a map team, and we're makin sum really kool stuff. But i've been havin a problem creating a vehicle.
In 3ds max, i've skinned it, and scaled it down, put the markers, linked to frame....etc etc. Now, when i go to compile the model, everything is fine up until the point when tool asks you about shaders. All my other previoulsy created shaders were fine, except this one shader i never even knew about. It told me to choose a shader type for the material <"none">. Now, of course i cant select a shader b/c it wants a shader with no name, and that cant be created. I've done everything right in 3ds max. someone told me on the team to put all the un used materials to standard, well i did that, but, i still had the same problem. I've tried everything i could think of. If anyone knows what to do, could you please tell me? This vehicle will be really kool, i cant wait to get iti ingame, but this problem makes it seem impossible. It also takes 20min to compile in tool, and its not fun when it gives me this error.
Thanks in advance!
The Dreaded <"none"> Shader error in tool. h
