Different Color Models

I've been working on making the Master Chief model but there is only the black and white skin... has anyone figured out how to accurately change his color?

ps... i haven't fixed the envelopes yet, so ignore those
edit: i've pretty much figured out everything now

nice animation, but when i was working on rigging mc, i couldn't figure out the envelopes...ggrrrr...
i think the seperate colors are actuallr shaders the game applies to the model depending on the color you pic...not posotive tho...

thanks for the reply, i think you are right though. I have seen pics of renders with different colors though which is why i am asking. Just wanna know the technique

colored biped is highly possible. every bit of proof.

just need more than one of somthings.(alot of them to)

The masterchief skin is white because that is the alpha channel color that is set to change according to the shader.
If you wanna change its colour for max, just darken the areas that he is white, then colourise it.

i think he meant ingame not max and w/e. someone else is going to tell them. not me.
