Some Questions

I've been gone for a really long time and am now i have no clue whats going on with ce (too much halo 2). i dont have an xbox so i'd like to see some more halo 2 maps made for halo ce. so what maps are being made for halo ce? what is this deal with 'ripping' that i was hearing about and will the map makers be using it? when are ndugu, new mombassa halo 2, hypothermia, the yoyorast one (or however you spell it), and many other maps coming out? i checked halo impulse and it looks like theres only been one map release since zanzibar. whats up with that?
please answer atleast some of these questions. don't yell at me for being a n00b or some crap like that because i'm not, look at my register date. i just havent played halo ce in a long time and i'd like to start to again.
