Ok I am trying to make a map and as I've stated before I will be asking ALOT of questions, but I have modeled a base from the map (although a little to wide in pictures). Here it is:

I plan to do some stuff to my map that has NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE, and will make it AWESOME. And I beleive that they are doable.

EDIT: Also, I am going to be neeing a skinner! Please PM if you would like to skin this model and the map for me!

you have some unplanar faces on that model, you may want to fix that. Not bad for a beginner.

I know, I selected "smooth off" before I started modeling but after the first boolean it went back to smooth. Dam thing. And what's an "unplanar" face? How might I undo the smoothing group?

Go to editable mesh modifier. Then go to Face selection mode. Scroll down to Surface Properties and select all of your faces (CTRL+A) and press the clear all button under the set of numbers.

EDIT: Anyone know how to apply skins in gmax? I tried applying one of the forerunner textures, but the "apply" button didn't pop up! See here:
