ok heres the thing...... i just registered for forums but i dont know where to post this but as long as its here can u help me.....ok here goes....ok first of all im trying to figure out a way to copy my halo disk because i want to take on to school because im there for over 2hours and all my friends are bringing there real cd of halo ( Halo combat evolved for pc ) but i dont want to well anyways i dont know how to copy it everything i try doesnt seem to help and someone told me to use a no - cd patch or something well i found a few but they dont help....maybe im just downloading the wrong type but please your help is greatly needed i dont want to be the only person playing trial version by my self......also the second thing is can some one make me a modded map or whatever cause i dont know what to do at all for that...................................

THINGS WANTED IN THE MODDED MAP TYPE THING ( for BLOODGUTCH)

Max ammo
no reloading ( you stay fully loaded with full ammo)
shot gun is 1hit ko
sniper rifle 1hit ko
gernades are much powerful then normal
3 teleporters instead of 1 ( the two piece of the crown like top where u can do down or up but i want them on the right side)
Sniper rifles are atleast 5feet from the place where you get teleported to

please can someone make me a map with all these things i dontk now how to do it and im not all the bright with doing stuff like that i get too confused.......

for copying the cd please tell me from step 1 how to do it.....and where to get a good patch thing or whatever and what type to download and how to do all that stuff.....

ok the halo cd key thingy is illegal and ur lucky u dont get banned

as for the map, it doesnt sound too complicated but its whether people can be bothered. I could probably try but im a meduim noob (lol) to modding so...i dunno...

It's not illegal. Its legal to have a NO CD Patch if you own the game. The modding part is a little too demanding. Maybe I'll pick that Bloodgulch Mod up. It's not hard at all. It'll take me maybe a day. When I have time, I'll do the mod for you. As for the NO CD Patch, you can download one from http://gamecopyworld.com.

i dont see why u cant just build that map by urself. it should only take a few hours...i already have one almost like that...check out my server, the info is inmy sig. but if you download hmt 3.5 and sparkedit, thats all you will need for your map.

but if the no cd patch doesnt work, get alcohol 120 and it will b called "burn image of cd", u will do that to the hard drive, so you will have the exact image of the cd on ur hd. then the program creates a virtual dvd drive, so ur computer thinks that you have a dvd drive but you dont, then u just mount the image to ur virtual drive and halo should pop up as if you just put the disc in. that easy...

but seriously man, ur mod can take just a few hours...the thing that will take the longest is moving the weapons around and the portals...thats it, and that shouldnt take very long. and w/ hmt, thats where you can change the clip size and the damage...and just about ne thing else besides vertices of where everything is located at(which is what sparkedit does). but i would just look into it. and i have a post in this forum:

those are just some simple tuts that i made (mv-little started the post, but i have more near the end of it, so check out mine, mine is what you are looking for)for those 2 programs. it shouldnt take u very long to make either and then u will know how to make them so when u wanna have another modded map, u wont have to worry about askin someone else to make one...

ok i finally downloaded sparkedit and that hmt thing how do i make mods with them? please post here telling me how i would go about making mods on a map that way i can make them my self later

ok...u might want to read over what i just wrote, cuz i have the tutorials right there on those links. so just sign up(its free and its the only way to see the tut's). its that easy, then u have the nice tuts that you are wanting right now...and ppl dont have to repost or tell u the same thing that i'm tellin ya right now.
