Hey guys. I am a complete novice when it comes to moddelling. In my CAD class we are going to be using AutoDesk Inventor soon and I was just wondering if any one had used this program to model things in HCE yet? I really don't know if it exports in .obj or anything like that. Just wondering if anyone has heard of it or used it or anything. Thanks guys,

There is a plugin that allows AutoDesk to export and import .obj, you can send someone a dfx which is an autodesk file, and they could import in 3ds or gmax. It i quite a popular tool to use, its cheaper then most of the tools available for 3d modelling.
