HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

This is a map request from all those who play the map Streets of Earth City and use it for space travel (to go to the moon, red planet, ect.)

I do not know if it was made that way, i doubt it was, but that in that level you are able to get beyond the borders of the map and travel the stars freely.

If it is possible that you can make a map allow this on purpose, then this is a request for such a map. The map would be key if there was one main base, as high off the ground as possible. In this base will be a main hangar, where escape pods, pelicans and banshees will hang from rafters, and catwalks leading to them will gain acsess for the pilots and passengers. There would also be a breifing room, where the flight crew discusses the mission before they leave. There would also be other various rooms, such as a weapon depot and a garage at the ground level, on the floor of the map, where the ground crew would have hogs and such to clean up any unfortunate messes.

I could go on more. But it would be pointless to go on if there was no one willing to make this in their free time. So if there is someone willing, i will discuss it more in detail.

hmmm, the idea would be better with a longsword, a Covenant Cruiser, and a human starship, the cruiser and the starship could be exact opposite each other on the map, and the vehicles would be the pelican, a Vertigo Flier, longsword, covie dropship, banshee, New vehicle: Covie DarkAngel, which i'n draw, and personal Escape pods, both covie and human, (like the H2 landing pods Elites with swords drop in w/ in the E3)

the only thing is there will only be 1 open bay on each ship, the rest would be pure space with a central platform that is a broken off piece of the HALO...

Now that would be a map idea...

There would be a space restriction, but the restriction would be less than the biggest maps made so far, and there would be even less elevation restriction than on islandhop with banshees, and i don't think there is a hight restriction, I've never found it anyway on that watery map

The Polys would be a little over the chart but with all the space that shouldn't be a problem, the 2 ships can be at least 3 km apart, which would in turn do a cutoff, but a dust cloud in the middle of the map should take care of that... tell me if you perfer my more detailed thought to the one who made this thread.

If this is ganna be made though, NEVER have the never respawn attached to the vehicles

Well, that doesnt sound too bad. But i didnt intend the map to be for combat. Of course it has to be eligble for combat, and the base has to defendable, but my idea wasnt for the purpose of combat.
