It probably wouldn't be that hard. I found the books to be incredibly dull (I enjoyed the hobbit though) and Peter Jackson's directing genius seems to be lost on me, (and the games sucked bad) so I can't say I'd like to see this made. Not to mention a bunch of cyborgs (or whatever) doesn't look quite right in a castle thingy. I would make a somewhat basic version of it, and then keep all the difficult things as scenery.

But good luck on getting a team going here, you're gonna need it. I've seen atleast 2 people a week trying to get teams going to build mediocre maps.

Oh, and what would you being doing for the map? What are your talents?

ive had made maps and i kno that this map will take a long time but.... im not even going to give u the satifaction of me defending myself.

I really fail to see how your map could be better than his. As far as I can tell you're a "n00bie" who's arrogant too.

And I wouldn't quite call the H2 team "tight-knit" if Nitrous keeps throwing the map to the stupidest people ever. I mean, if the guy leaks it one time what's the point in giving it to him again.

Ok, sorry about all the $#!+ I posted....was in the worst of moods at the time, and I shouldn't have posted at all; Thanx for slapping me back to reality with your post Dan. I hate mood swings....they make me look like an idiot by contradicting myself. I guess what I was thinking at the time was that my map was currently much better because it had more potential to be finished being that it's in it's latter stages compared to his which hasn't started yet.....I dunno.

As for Nitrous, I don't believe that he gave it to the person who leaked it the first time. As far as I know, he's now only letting close personal friends test, but I don't know that much about who gets what in tehir testing, so I could be wrong, just going by what I heard. It WOULD be pretty d4mn stupid if he gave another copy back to the leaker to give them a "second chance". I personally don't want a repeat of the whole first leak fiasco.

well good luck, but what im really waiting for in the mapping world is for Zanzibar for CE to come out.

But anyways, i agree with that other guy..a buncha cyborgs fighting in a castle....gimmie a break.

Okay buddy, listen here. Teams are great and all, and people are just wanting to help, yet most can't. But listen, if you are going to have this attitude...no one is going to want to work with you.

Unless you put time in and model the MC to look like a knight lol

well i personally dont like this idea much... although you could reskin all the players to be orcs...

that would be sweet lol...

instead of totally making a skin from scratch, you could simply change an elite or something to look more like an orc
