spacial problem... or maybe portals?

ive got a ladder in my new level that goes through about 4 floors so that u can go to any 1 of them. theres a hole in the floor where the ladder comes through and theres enough space to get through (about 50x50). buut i cannot go through the openings. i can climb the ladder, but only to right below the 1st floor. does this have to do w/ portals or something?

I'm pretty sure it's not a portal porblem as portals just get instructed weather to show or hide the polygones in the area inside of them.. Try bigger openings even tho 50x50 is probably sufficient. Have you tried spawnin on the other levels and trying the ladder? could narrow down your problem..
seems strange though

The object that you made the ladder through, is it a pieve of scenery? If it is, make sure that your collision model is cooresponding with your model.

its not scenery.. its part of the bsp. and yea i looked up portals and found out what they do so nvm bout that. gonna try to make the dimensions bigger.
