Can I import a model from Halo into 3ds max ?

I want to import masterchief and some other models into 3d max so i can make some stuff. is this possible? if so what tools should i use and were can i get them?

yeah it's possible. You need HMT 3.5 which i have, and the obj-to-max plugin which i have for 5

You can always use Milkshape or Deep Exploration. Google either. Both can import OBJs and export 3DSs.

hellboy, u just download the reference models...then u merge them in 3dsmax.

Or you could use James' GBX model importer for 3ds MAX/GMAX
That brings them in just about perfect..

I don't think he needs them for map resizing. And James' plugin doesn't work right with 6, unless he updated it.
