HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

How do i attach an object to another object without it inheriting the objects color? ie: theres a blue box and i position a red box next to it and i want to attach them together, how do i attach the red box without it turning blue? thanks in advance

If your using 3ds max 6 as i did, all you have to do is select one box, and hit attach then then hit list and click the name of the other box, they shouldnt change colour, as mine didnt.

ahh ok i got it, thanks man, i kept matching the objects id's
