YOYORAST ISLAND: Potentialy, the best map ever made but...
This is an interesting comment by DanTheMan on gearbox forums... I though it would be iteresting to post my aswer here too in order to better understand the way to score on this map:hey, once somebody has the flag, and they score, cant they just walk right back to the flag and score again?
you're absolutly right, once you've scored you can go back by passing through the way drawn on the piture:
I think when one will have the flag, the other players will all be focused on him and won't let him score or rescore easily and the way to score a 2nd time is not so short and easy to go without danger so.... yes it will be pretty dificult to reach the flag, yes once you have scored you'll have the oportunity to score again but not so easily. I don't see it as a problem, it should be part of the gameplay.

I would like to betatest this map. I don't think its in game yet though.
If I learn how to use hek and stuff I'll try to get it ingame. Although I am not sure.
This map will be in close competionwith Zanzibar if it is ever released.

Why We Mod - Completed
Supreme Taco is supposed to put all this in game.... Unfortunatly I have no news from him since a week or so... I beleve he has been very occupied and all and I don't want to disturbe him at the moment with this project so, except for the modeling ameliorations that I made before my last post(with all the pictures) about one week ago... I'm sorry to say that there is no progress... sad but true. Hi guys here is a little update on the model (not yet in game), it consist of some improvement on some objects and corrections of bugs, open edges...
You can notice that I added (under the pressure of some of you guys) some edges on one part of the 2 sides of this ramp (I know you gonna say it's not enough but I want to try it in game first before considering adding more edges... In the middle of the ramp you can notice a new "stop hog" wall so theoricaly you'll be able to jump straith from the green ramp (3rd, 4th pics) and be stop by this wall that will prevent you to fall...
On top of the towers I've added a little piece of "coridor's lift" (I think there is no problem with making a lift) because I had realise that without it, nothing prevent the player that had the flag or had just scored to take the lift again to go down the tower... and have a really too short way to the other tower... so now you only can take the lift from the base of the tower to the top and once you leave it you cannot use it again to go down (you must take the way described on the pic of my last post). By the way, this corridor is made of glass so it's transparent... I think it will be pretty exciting to see a masterchief taking the lift to the flag without being able to shoot him (while he is in this corridor)

On this pic I've removed the green ramp just to better see the reworked platform for the Tank (in blue here)... you can also see the reworked "little mountains" around this platform...

Here is a copy of another interesting post on gearbox forum that made me change somthing on the map... I tought it could be interesting to post it here and show the constant evolution of the map... And I have to tell you I had news from Taco and just sent him the last files for him to work with!

Thanks for this observation Super Ben..Just wondering, as I havent been keeping up with this all, whats to stop the player going to and from the flags the way shown in green here?
