Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Maybe later, but currently I'm trying to keep this a one person project.
-------------

I redid the brick bumpmap. The faces of the bricks looked too round on my earlier one.

and here's the concrete walls that will be in 3 of the gas tank rooms.

why are you showing the walls?

You trying to show off the textures?

My computer is rather slow. It takes a while to run 0 radiosity on the entire map. I plan to show off some of the level later this week. Applying the textures is easier than making them.

Holy crap man, those walls look phenominal! Great job, most people just put on a dull flat skin and call it done. Nice job so far -Laser- :)

It's nothing specific to the tutorial persay. It's just that as I stitched the exports together, I didn't think to take any steps in 3dsmax toward preserving the materials. I didn't use "pick material from object", which would've given me a nice multi/sub-object containing all the material numbers used by goldeneye. Nor did I take care to match the materials as I attached each section. Just simple failure to think ahead :?

Just trying to figure out a good method of lighting(on goldeneye, there are almost no light fixtures in facility).

now all you need is the creepy looking Russian player models, game sounds, and the sliding doors, and you'll be set.

Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
