stock should not be separate from the rest of the gun. it can all be one mesh. not much completed yet to properly judge, but seems like you have the right idea.

well srry i havent been posting for a while and stuff but i fixed up some stuff reduced the large ammount of verts i had and have

thanx.
now that u think of it i have never seen a custom assault rifle model besides CMT's and H3T's and it is one of the cooloest guns in my oppinion.

So far, only CMT's SPV2 AR has a new model (everything else default) , and H3t's is default.

What's going on with that ammo counter? It's loaded with ugly non-planars with no smoothing whatsoever.

Not to mention it is inaccurate.

I made the CMT rifle ;).

As for yours, I am confused as to why there is something like a 'Cover' for the shroud part of the gun.

Can't say I remember seeing that at all when i modeled mine. But then again, I had to make it before Beta was even out.

Notice the little triangles around the display and some other places? Those are non-planars.
