i totally agree w/ inkjet. you guys might as well learn ms3d and tools that can actually mod halo instead of rely on a tool that doesnt exist yet[at least not in our hands]

there you go. its my first gun ever made so it will need work if u want to edit it aragorn then i'll send it to u in a .3ds or .obj file. however i can't make sounds map or skin. but i might be able to skin in a little while cuz i found a skinning program called tattoo. you just put in the 3d model and you can paint on it i think. however i'm havin some difficulties with it so i gotta get that solved b4 i can skin. but without a tool i can't do squat.

its called anim8or. open source program that i prefer over everything else. www.anim8or.com then best thing is that it's free. no trials or anything. the best thing is that you can arc rotate on all views. the only problem is it's complex so i had to read teh whole manual the guy wrote b4 i could do anything truly complex. i would highly reccomend it. however currently for changing the models of halo it isn't that great. the guy needs to address a problem with some exponent thing. but it will be fixed in version 0.9 of anim8or. try it atleast. but remember to read the manual or u won't have a clue what to do.

i don't use blender so i wouldn't know what it was. lemme ask u this. unless u spent 10,000 bux on software u musta craked both of those programs. bsides i like this program more than 3ds max. lot more organized. thats the best part about it. when i use 3ds max it just looks to me like a huge jumble of buttons and stuff. anim8or is really powerful but is also really easy to use.

umm yeah. i'm not in high school but still i don't really care for maya. besides i don't want to pay a crapload of money or do enough illeagal activity to get busted into and fined. oh well i just like anim8or because you get a lot for no money. also i like it more than milkshape because it is able to arc rotate views from all of the four windows.
edit: holy crap. that is cheap for maya. bsides u don't need proffesional version unless ur a commercial game or movie designer. imean i don't have a job but i could still get it if i really wanted to. crap. i might get that when i do have a job.
