here's an update. teh model is now all connected. falcon patched up the cylinders for me and connected the flagrooms and hallways :D

sad to see you scale it up i think small maps rule. but it still looks nice. i just wish my map was close to this good

well i scaled up due to the issue of spawnkillers... and grenade abuse...

as for the poly count, yes that is near final. it shouldn't lag at all. i mean, most of it you can't even see from any one spot. just think of BG. you see most of the map just by being outside a base, and how much does it lag?? (not including the 56k'ers)

me wants cirlular on x and y axis... on the z though, it is oval.

any other comments??

no, because it's actually a squished spere, so more of a "pebble" shape. cylinders have flat tops, don't get confused there buddy :lol:

why don't you run an optimize modifier it lower the polycounts. Before 6500 Polys after 2500 and you don't notice a difference.

yes that works but for this map i did it and it messes it up. becuase alot of the verts are close together and it welds them and it makes it all messy.
