i dont know but i always thought they were a layer for detail. accutuly probably if we knew that we'd know how to get out of the red vs blue thing.

i thought multipurpose bitmaps changed the way light reflected off a model....

Yes. Multipurpose is for the reflection. EG: If you make the ghost white, it will still have a purple glow if you have -use11 or -use20 on.

its for multi-purpose.. just like it sounds.. one things it does is reflection.. but it also adds details.. and sum other stuff
If your significance is that but significant then is there another with significance?

how people were talkin bout switching a skin for each team i think the code just uses cyborg multi purpode to change the color to red (on red team and blue (on blue team)

well yeah... change the mp bitmap to completly green, it should change the bitmap... id test... but my laptop sucks so much it shows both teams as white

That won't work. Changing the multipurpose bitmap to green will just give him a green reflection. Both teams would have a green reflection.

exactly, it wouldn't be red vs blue anymore, it would be greenish-red vs greenish-blue, how is that wrong?
