it is in the tutorial map file that is already done. all you have to do is

select MC>
go up to edit and select inverse>
delete>reselect MC>
click on the move button>
right click on the move button>
enter all 0's to the xyz spots on the left side>
and save as a different file name or else you will have just overwriten the tutorial map.

c:\program files\microsoft games\halo\haloce\data\levels\test\tutorial\tutorial.max
(or some variation)

While you're in your map file in 3ds max, do this:

..Go to File > Merge
..Navigate to the c:\program files\microsoft games\halo\haloce\data\levels\test\tutorial directory and select tutorial.max
..In the new window that pops up, select "MC" from the objects list and click merge or okay or just double click on MC. He'll then merge in with your file.
