white Pr skin

this is a weapon im working on its called the white pr and its used by white squadren elies (there the new type of elites in my new solo player map) the pr shoots white plasmsa bolts that leave behind a small white burning plasma fire.

what you guys think

yeah this is still prototype i still havent fixed a couple of effects mainly the 3rd person fireing effect which is still blue. i was sorta asking what you guys thought of it as a "idea" not as much how it looks right no i just gave the pictures too show what i was trying too make.

but new shaders is a good place too start

Is there something else you can add to the weapon to make it more different than just color? Like maybe a secondary fire or something?

I don't know about the secondary fire thing but I'm sure it has to do with guerilla. Make it the fuel rod gun projectile but instead of the projectile flying up then falling down make it fly straight kind of like the hunters in halo2. And make it white.

the pr is already different there how

: the projectiles are faster and do more damage
: they are white
: and they leave behind a small white plasma fire on impact.

and a secondary fire might be cool i might add that.
maybe like a big white flash that stuns everyone orsometing that would be cool. i like AOE shit!

secondary should be a high damage plasma stream that overheats the pr quickly and depletes enough battery life that it doesn't become an easily abused power weapon.

the thing already depletes pretty fast. i put the ageing high because the weapon is very powerfull. heres a chart on how this works

plasmarifle < brute plasmarifle < white plasmarifle

i think the stun would be cool. and you know what your idea is pretty much a spartan laser.
