just finished a basic model for my Nail Gun the design is inspired by the machine gun from lost planet but i think it looks good still.
i know its sorta boxy but i like it and the weapon is going too shoot long metal spikes that stick into things like walls and other thing or people. its also gonna have a secondary trigger that charges the spikes with electricity and will act as a emp too take down peoples shields faster.
+ also anyone know a good tutorial for skinning cause i have no idea how too put a bitmap on this thing the correct way
idk how 2 gmax model! and i did make a G-gun 4 halo trial, but i thot that the reel one wuz just a flamethrower double, so i made it so it shot needles that automatically explode and have a lot of force
i can fix the smoothing easily and the planars i think soo. but its intended too look a certain way and i just havent got it how it should look i guess. ill work on it.
but anyway you got too start learning too model somwhere.
on the other hand the nail gun script is working well. (picture)
Nails are smaller, should do whatever, but about 10, 15, have a ROF of whatever you like, and are well thought out, by you, but would you like to be shooting people with a nail gun when they have rocket launchers. You could make a MP map of grunts, and go hunting with the nail gun!(Just an idea)
So un1337, beware my advice. "On a burning bridge, your options are minimal at best,
Depending on where you stand and how much breath is in your chest"
the only reason their are that many is because i had cheat_bottomless_clip 1 on
the gun is actually well balanced it has about 10 shots in a clip dose damage about between a assualt rifle and a sniper. and its rof is about 6 a second and its decently accurate about as accurate as a pistol.and it aslo realoads like a shotgun one nail at a time.
this is a game where aliens think a giant ring is a holy object that kills everyone. and a guy who has a giant green suit of armour and a recharging energy sheild.
realism...
any way does it really matter how it works just as long as i make it balanced and fun too use.
