Subtracting Tool?

Wheres the tool in 3ds max to subtract one object from another. I've used it before but I forget what its called.

Also is this the right forum for this Q, I posted here cause we have no other modeling forum.

it's called boolean, and it sucks :)

anyways, change standard primitives to compound objects on your create tab (the white arrow).
