Needs more explosions!
Here is an example.
After I added the Snow Bitmaps this is how it looks in SparkEdit 3.1

This is the 2 mins later when I went ingame.

Can Anyone help? Its been done and it's done a lot? How do you edit ground textures, save them, and then put them BACK into the game?
(snow texture for the ground never ever showed up which is another thing.)
Thanks

ok so i tried using the ground map from sidewinder hoping that it would be like snow because the texture in hmt looked like snow so i imported it into blood gulch but for so reason it then makes the ground red. so i guess that you are just gonna have to edit the bitmaps of the grass and the sand in bloodgulch in order to get snow. I'm at school right now but when i get home im gonna see what i can do with it.

I know that but what i did was i took the bitmap of the ground from sidewinder saved it opened bloodgulch went to the grass bitmap and injected the sidewinder one. but when i play bloodgulch for some reason the ground is all red. So i gotta just play with some stuff abit and look a bit more at the bitmaps and i should be able to get it to work cause i've seen it done before.Vegito619 wrote:There's a ground bitmap in the map file directory
just look under the bitm tag in hmt
