Halo Map Tools!
Yup, I finally got Halo Map Tools to work! Yup! So I thought I'd start with texturing exportin and importin. So I open Bg, then click bitmaps and click sky moon or sumtin. That doesn't matter. Anyway, I click a texture and press Save Texture and save to my desktop. I then open the dds file in photoshop ( I have plugin ) and I edit it round a bit. Now I save again and try to inject it into HMT but it says sumtin like Error, Selected Map must be DXT4 or DXT5... If anyone knows how to fix this, then please be VERY detailed like doing step by doing a step by step tutorial on injectng it. Thanks to everyone who helps!

I have photoshop trial and HMT Version 2 Beta 1. Nutin comes up for both when I save it. Yet in HMT I see Save Texture and above that DXT1 ( A number bytes ). Heres a link of what it looks like when I open a texture. What I do from here?

from here you push the save texture button, it should save it as a .dds fileDeadly_Shadow wrote:I have photoshop trial and HMT Version 2 Beta 1. Nutin comes up for both when I save it. then open it up in photoshop, when your done you have to save it as the same format which was a dxt1
then you switch windows back to the hmt and push inject texture and pick the file that you were you saved the changes
