jms is mean

im on the part where after i exited guerilla where i made the whole things like ground bit maps and **** like that now he tells me to export the the map and type tool structure levels\splinter splinter and i click it and it says ERROR cannot find specified file it says it cant find the jms


i did every thing the dude said :evil:

Have you ever thought that he was correct and you didnt do something that was really small?

ok well could u atleast tell me what a jms file is or where in the # of tuts he uses it or creates it?

Sounds like you put your JMS file into either the wrong folder, or you didn't make it at all.

Did you export your level from Max as splinter.jms into the data\levels\splinter folder?

where do i get the jms like where in the tu did he mention it or tell u 2 make it and what program would i use to make a jms

maybe somthing called 3d studio max and with the blitzkrieg exporter and a knowledge of modeling

thanks dude but 1 more thing i cant link the skybox to the frame when the little chain thingy is places on the skybox and is moved over to the frame nothing happens, how do i link it?

k here is a easier way i forget which you select i think it is the frame click the link tool go to the list think (someone help me out i forget what it is called) in there select skybox hit the link button

ok ok ok so far every thing went well (THANK U ROYAL!) UNTIL........... i tried to export it (not the geometry problem something diff) and i clicked export no error until the hourglass icon or the loading icon on the mouse came up and it told me i need to close to program?

if you look on your keyboard on the top right corner you will see a botton that says prt sc that will take a screen shot and then u paste into paint and save it

it wont work ill just tell u the error
it says

An error has occured and the application will now close
do you want to attemp to save a copy of the current scene?

thats what i get when i save it as a jms
