error importing models in Gmax
error importing models in Gmax
When I import the any model into gmax the Weapon or Character is hollow All you can see is the other side of the model and looking at the front you see nothing. does Gmax not import is correctly?
i'll just use this topic, cuz i don't really want to make a new one for this, it's also about a error in 3dsm 4.2 this time.
when i try to import for example, the MC in to it, i just either get a really weird looking model or just one with only like 40 vertices, i've tried scaling it, fliping the normals and stuff like that, i still can't see it tho...
so if anyone can help me i'd really appreciate it

i know i've asked this a million times, and not only me, but this is gonna be asked a million other times if no-one gets a proper answer...so here we go again..
well i know how to export .obj files and then import them in 3dsm.....but when i do it looks like this :

i'm not using the obj2max importer anymore cuz it gave me to much trouble, i'm using a program called crossroads right now, it can import .obj files and export as .3ds....i don't think that's the problem tho, cuz i've tried using the obj2max plugin to....same result...a crappy model that looks nothing like a pelican, and yes i did try scaling/flipping normals/polygons and stuff, so i'm getting really desperate now..
well...if anyone can help me (and probarly some other guys to) i would greatly appreciate it....
