I just dont see the point in celebrating something that most likely didnt happen, think about it, the english were at war with the indians for land reasons, do you think they felt like taking a break and making turkey and stuff in the middle of the war and have a great feast?

i dont know i just dont like thanksgiving, i think its because my family (the outside the house family like aunts and cousins) forget my b-day cause my birthday is always so close to thanksgiving rofl

Think about it Thanksgiving is more commercial than religious or anything else. It gives store owners and runners an excuse to give employs a four day weekend. Why else would it be the third thursday of November and not a set date?

thanksgiving was when the pilgrims first got here and the indian squanto helped them survive their first winter or something, they werent at war or anything when the pilgrims first got there
