3DsMAX 8 Trial says that d3dx9_26.dll is missing! help!

is there any where i could download whatever this is from? i have tryed twice repairing, and 3 deletes and reinstalls.

i had the same problem with 3ds max 7, what is the folder u r trying to install it into, vasue it will only work if you install it in to the hard drive
(ex: C:\3dsmax8)

Search the forum i posted the same problem. you have to open 3ds Max folder then download the direct x thingy.

it should have been in the your program folder. it says direct x. you have to install it.
