Noob Question, Sorry.

I just started using 3ds Max 8 and i cant seem to move the viewport. like what i mean is look at the bottom or the opposite sides and just freely move it around. Please help.

first of all hang your head in shame for not reading the help files

then listen to this n00b tell u how it's done

if u have a 3 button mouse (or a scrolly wheel) hold down the middle mouse button and move around, hold ALT while doing this to rotate, or CTRL to move faster!

that dosnt work when i click the scrool wheel it only zoooms in and out. I did the read the help files and i watched the 3ds max navigation tutorial. Nothing works.

you HOLD down the button now SCROLL.
