obj to gmax and gmax to obj?

Where can I get these plugins and what folder do I put them in? I have searched for hours and can't find one post that makes sence and has the plugin download in it. BTW, Can you render with Gmax...I am used to 3ds max and just started using Gmax.

How do I save the text doc as a .obj? It tells me I can only save it as a .txt...
