Master Cheif/Weapon Skinning problems.

Master Cheif/Weapon Skinning problems.

I have been having a few problems with skinning alot of the guns and character models.

I am using Photoshop 7.0 with the DDS plug-in and DotHalo. (Thanks to Farklem)

I can extract the bitmap, edit it, save it, and inject it back in just fine.

My problem is that when I edit a skin in lets say, Zanzibar, it will will not show up in the map. It will still be the default skin.

I go back into DotHalo to see if it was injected correctly. It has, but the skin shows up not only in Zanzibar.map, but also every other map in my folder with the altercations made.

How can I inject the bitmap to work for only the map I am editing, and how do I make it active in the game?

I have searched many forums for tutorials and posts but i have found nothing.

Inject the bitmap into Shared.map.

I have done this already, still no effect.

Are you sure all you have to do is extract, edit, inject, and thats it?

I am getting no results using DotHalo.
