Pie - you wanted a modeling project...

Pie, I would be interested in having this original piece of concept art from Bungie turned into a holder/marker for a flag. I'm thinking of a rounde base with scoop out on the base where I could put the flag.

I really want to capture the feel of this piece without going high-poly. This will be on a dais inside a pyramid-like forerunner cathedral.

the center stem with top is what I want, with probably a different base, and I don't want it at that scale (you'll notice a person near its base) I am thinking it should be about 20 feet tall.

I've no doubt that it would be a pain in the nether regions to model, especially and keep those poly's down. I also have no doubt as to pie's abilities. Now all that remains is whether or not he's interested.

but one more thing, how come your posting these things in mapping?
shouldnt you be posting them in "Skinning and Modelling"?
