What program to use for model editing?

What program to use for model editing?

What program should I use for editing models, where can I get it and whats the price? If there is a trial let me know. (got some really sweet ideas) :)

3d Max you gotta order a copy and they send the demo to you. My self; I got that from ordering a demo :)
