We have found a new host and are in the stages of updating the php and we are working on new graphics for it plus it we need few more days to make it better than ever.

hs seemed more for the xbox version of halo. honestly i think xbox halo is 98% pure perfection, no moding needed. pc version kinda sux, so i say we improve that.

dont get me wrong HS is a damn good site, just not my taste.

First of this message is not a put down to the halomods site. I love this site (except for maybe the graphics ) It is a great resource and I hope to see it flourish and survive for a long time.


the message in the title is for those people that don't like the haloskns website, or call it a "noob site" haloskins is a halo fan site, whether u have been playing for 2 years, or 2 hours, everybody is welcome at haloskins. we do not discourage anybody from asking the most basic modding questions, cause thats the point of a modding website, to help people, not to mention the fact that the traffic the site gets is unbelievable, which is the point of a web site, right?. so if you find yourself to be one of those people that dislike haloskins, its obviously you are envious or scared of it, or just a plain and simple arrogant asshole. BTW- yes, it is a broadband only supported site.

Anyways, about the haloskins status... the site is hosted again, with brand spanking new cms software installed, which means MORE awesome features, and I am bored with the site graphics, so I am designing an updated, more streamlined site layout, and new graphics, with new flash and gifs. Thanks for all that support haloskins, we are working hard to make sure you can have one of the best halo sites on the web, as one very experienced halo modder once told me it was

It's cool to hear that Haloskins will be back up soon. I'm more of an Xbox modder due to all the LAN parties we get going, so it's more of my place--but I've found that Halomods is also a good place for resources, and I haven't seen anyone say anything bad about Haloskins for the short time I've been here.

I hope that the Halo hacking community can work together and not see the two sites as competitors or anything silly like that. And I hope HS is back up soon. Great job, Decibel (and the other guys over there).
