HaloCE is only Multiplayer, when you download it there won't be any single player options. Think if it as a stand alone Multiplayer game, But don't worry you can still have your original halo installed so you can play single player. The HEK will support single player but there will be no tutorils for it, only multiplayer.

So the difference is? What HCE will be just for installing newmaps? and the HEK will come out afterwards to make the maps?

Halo CE is still Halo HEK. This is just a way of getting this rolling so that those that have waited patiently will be able to get their hands on the tools.

It is just unsupported which means, you will be on your own.

atually i herd Mrs. doublefire quit modding, but since hek is almost out this will change if it is true, he will come back, (herd him say it in the gearbox forums), only problem with hek is it will only support 3d max not gmax or any milkshape or anything...

Now i cammand everyone to get 3ds max, 80 more gigs of hardrive, a brand new video card and prepaire for the hek, the most powerfull modding tools ever to be realsed in the history of HALO!!!!, must make map, must make map..Thank GOD, it is almost here!

I stand strong with Demonic on this one. I also would like to bring something to picture: I WILL NOT DL HEK. THEY MADE WAIT FOR 6 MONTHS WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN OUT THE DAY HPC WAS RELEASED!!! for this reason, I will not DL it. actually, I have lots of fun doing sp>mp conversions... GO MONO!!!
