I got sparkedit v2.0 PC to work

ppl, I found out how to make sparkedit v2.0 for PC work. its really obvious
just go into the folder that has the sparkedit exe file, open the configuration file, and u should see something like this:

# SparkEdit initialization (custom) settings
#--------------------------------------------------------------------------
# Exact path to bitmaps.map file; enclose in quotes
BITMAPFILE="C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS\Bitmaps.map"
except the BITMAPFILE= thing would say something like:
E:\files\games\maps\bitmaps.map
so just change it to the correct file path on yr computer (if you just used the default install, this filepath should work: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS\Bitmaps.map" of course dont put the quotes!
