HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Sort of like a focus group type of thing...

What do you guys want to see here at halomods? Anything at all.. just post and let me know and I'll see if we can work something out. I feel things have been dying down lately, partially due to users being bored of the same old same old. So if theres anything in particular you'd like to see added to the site, let me know now. Thanks.

I would like to see something like that, but there isn't enough user activity to support a full emblem system. Besides, it isn't exactly the easiest thing to install. And as for themes, I'm trying to get a hold of the right people to add new themes to the forums and main site. The only problem is that we'd have to re-mod those themes... and geeklog doesn't have many themes to begin with. So until a new forum is set up, I don't think we'll be seeing a fully working new theme here. You can actually choose the old one (dark blue theme...) and use that... the only problem is the report post mod isn't installed on it.. so you won't be able to report posts. Personally, I'd like to see a completely new forum (new forum software too... maybe SMF?) for both file hosting and discussion... so we don't have two forums which end up turning into practically two different communities. I'd also like to see a new CMS on the main site... geeklog isn't exactly a favorite.

I like our Avatar options. I love the Themes! The cuss filther is gone! Yay! I also like that the Halo 3 Forum is now open.

But a random contest every week would be cool.

Heres just a suggestion, at halobabies.net they have this weekly drawing contest where they pick a topic and you draw it. Maybe we could do that?
I don't see how that would fit in with this site, just a suggestion.

I was very hesitant about posting in this thread, but now I feel like there will be a flaming war starting because I posted. Oh well.

I'm not sure how to get rid of newbies (even though I am one), but for one, if you want to have a private forum all you would need is a collection of names you know are people that aren't newbies and give them priviledge to a forum that is not visible to other members.

Again, sorry for speaking.

People should be nice and help no matter what rank they are.

I noticed that Maca and MG have user titles set to prophets? How many post is that after? Looks like a new rank to me.

Also I am really digging this skin. Reminds me of way back when this was the halomods main skin.

Emblems? That would be neat to put on here also. I have always loved emblems and am sure I would get the pink heat at a third cheveron on this forums . Helping just about everyone in the Halo 2 Modding section .

Also I like how it is more organized now you fixed up all the catagories =].

I think it is really nice now =]. But still would like emblems.

At least someone appreciates my plan... you guys have no idea how long I've been waiting for this to be put into effect. I just hope it isn't too late.

Prophet is a new rank. 2000=Prophet.

Is there a rank list somewhere? It woulde be nice to see it atleast.
